Vacation photos

Every few years my partner and I try and take a vacation to a new country. We like to settle in one place and explore outwards from there. We have also covered larger areas by flying within a country. Two weeks is usually the time we have to spend. These photographs are a sampling of the places we have been. It is a different process for me to photograph on vacation. The photographs are only a part of why I am away from home. I have lately just brought a point and shoot camera that fits in my pocket. Then when my back is not sore, I know I am really on holiday. Vacation photos are what I see as I wander. What strikes me in a moment. Then I move on. I hope to return to many of these places and photograph in depth.
