Dairy Farm

On September 11, 2006 Rich Wendig, age 21, and his fiance Christine Villani , age 22, received 25 Holstein dairy cows that they had bought. Thus began the R&C Farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Rich has wanted to be a dairy farmer all his life. From age 11, he worked at Penn View Farm. Now he was leasing land and a barn, working at Penn VIew part time, and running his own farm full time. Christine works with horses during the day, and milks cows at 5:00 am and again at 4:00 pm. As one family farm after another sells off to land developers, Rich and Christine are starting their lives together as a family dairy farm.
